Clean Air America

Founded in 1992, Clean Air America has been providing a safe environment to North American manufacturers and trade schools for over 30 years. Our values are simple: do it right the first time, take care of our people, and protect our customers’ employees and manufacturing environments.

Clean Air’s commitment to manufacturing and fabrication of its own equipment in Rome, Georgia is a true differentiator in a market where so many have moved to contract, offshore, outsourced work. In-house fabrication work allows for customization and agility in project management.

Perhaps the most important moment in the Company’s history was in the year 2000 when the inaugural WeldStation product was introduced to the Trade School market. The backdraft booth design has since become the industry standard with thousands of units in the install base, helping train the next wave of tradesmen and women in an industry experiencing a dramatic generational shortfall in skilled workers.

The Industrial market has long been dominated by a relatively small group of well-known leaders, though few can compare to the spectrum of offerings Clean Air has in its product catalog. At the core are Clean Air’s Brahm Series central dust collectors, which can be used for most light-loading general dust and fume applications.

Functionally this makes the Brahm collectors a particularly good fit for weld fume collection in manufacturing environments with both manual and robotic welding.

In addition to the dust collectors, Clean Air offers industry-leading solutions in the form of Oil Mist collectors, Downdraft tables, Welding and Grinding booths, and Ambient Air solutions for operating environments with overhead cranage that makes ducted systems prohibitive.

The Clean Air team recently launched two products that have the potential to be differentiators in the market: its Liberty WeldCell dust and fume collector and the Clean Air HiVac system.

Our values are simple: do it right the first time, take care of our people, and protect our customers’ employees and manufacturing environments

Liberty units were developed specifically for robotic weld cells where floor space is at a premium, but air space is available. Liberty units have the total footprint of a generic 4’ x 4’ pallet and have improved upon competing technologies in the market where can velocity, particulate release, and filter life were challenged.

The Clean Air HiVac can accommodate up to six welding guns and was developed in conjunction with channel partners supplying the premier source capture systems on the market. High vacuum welding guns have historically been bulky, heavy, and have gone unused by welders in the plants because of challenges in reaching hard to reach nooks. Advances in weld gun technology and increased regulation in plant worker safety have led to better solutions and true benefits of source capture for many weld environments.

A 2021 investment from industry veterans, Pine Crest Industries, has provided the long-term vision and capital support needed for Clean Air America to get a on the path to reaching its true potential. Protecting people and manufacturing environments is our passion – let us show you how we’re different.
